Interesting cards of the week:

3/4 Cards:

People are seriously speculating on the Vein Ripper and Sorin Imperious Bloodlord killer combo. I agree it is killer. I was grabbing up those sorins for my multiple Vampire Decks already. of course wish I grabbed more. But seriously Drop any huge vampire for 2B proliferate / Chain Veil / and re-use? how many great 5 6 or 7 drop vampires are out there? Butcher of Malakir?. Sorin has the beef to hit 90, I think the Vein Ripper is over-valued.

But the real sleepers are: Demand Answers and Voldaren Epicure: Red already wants the cheap instant draw. But now they can have and already great one Drop plus a better use for the blood token in an instant draw. I don't think either will go much past a buck or two, but I do think they could each hit a buck or two.

2/14: cards:

Looking at the Murders of Karlov Manor Spoilers, the interesting cards I would throw out are anything Rakdos. So let's say Blackcleave Cliffs, Haunted Ridge, Badlands and any combination of Red and Black Mana rocks.

Judith and Rakdos are both in the set. Standard already has Ob-Nixilis, Braids and all of the hate filled Phyrexian staples like Gix and Sheoldred. Rakdos will be filling Standard with some flaming hate for plenty longer.

Recent Commander Play by Play

Last week we did Tuesday Commander at the Comicade. Comicade has a nice area to play on Tuesdays. Most of the people that hang up there will prefer to play commander. I have also noticed some interest in pauper and standard from tiem to time. Usually game time will be around 6 until 9 or whenever people feel like hanging until. Yes, I am a new user there but mail trading is what it is and in person trading at local conventions or shops is likely the easier way to make arrangements. Regardless the click and add and bulk entry to copy and paste decks or trade lists is convenient.
